Since 1999, GAAH has been championing the creativity and curiosity of our neighbors on Grand Rapids' southwest side through inclusive arts and education programs at the Cook Arts Center and Cook Library Center. Our annual Día del Sol, or Day of the Sun, event brings together students, neighbors, and donors in celebration and support of the vibrant communities in our neighborhood. At this year’s Día del Sol, we reflect on the milestones that have exemplified our mission and its evolution over the past 25 years. All proceeds benefit GAAH's arts and education programs.
