“Leg Godt” is a Danish phrase that means “play well.” Students will have plenty of time for free play but will also be a part of challenging STEAM activities.
Under the supervision of an adult advisor, Teen Leaders engage in work experience, determine their own program goals and work together to meet those goals. Students gain public speaking/presentation experience, evaluate program success, make recommendations for improvement. On completion of the term, students fill out leadership self-assessments and have one-on-one interviews with their leadership coach who guides them in a reflection on how to continue to develop their skills.
Playing helps us imagine a better world, find paths for us to take, and feel safe and loved. Play alongside Ms. Emily and help build the Occupation Station with your own imagination!
Due to COVID19, there are a lot of changes to our programming, but the Cook Library Center staff are here to help! Virtual schooling has been a challenge but our team is still working to support students in their studies, and also in their social life.
