Cook Arts Center

The Cook Arts Center provides programs in the arts (music, dance, theater, visual arts, and pottery). Through these programs, participants celebrate their own culture and the cultures of others. They enrich their lives, develop skills, build relationships, enhance their self-esteem, and build community.

In addition to a wide array of after-school classes, the Arts Center offers drop-in art activities, summer programs, field trips, and winter and spring break programs. At the end of each session, students proudly showcase their work to their families and the community at recitals held at the Cook Arts Center. We also celebrate exciting collaborations with a variety of community organizations and schools.

You can help make programs like these possible by considering a tax deductible, in-kind donation. Here is a list of items that we always need at the Cook Arts Center. Or donate online now!

Because our mission is to enrich lives in the Grandville Avenue neighborhood, classes and programs at the Cook Arts Center are free for those who live within our neighborhood boundaries, which can be seen in the map below. Neighborhood residents are given first priority in all of our classes and programs.
